Each exhibition of my books is a book where other smaller books are characters, words, phrases. Each of my books is an exhibition where letters, signs, words, phrases, papers, covers, drawings, languages, texts are its items. Each exhibition is a puzzle composed of pieces which are various books, conventional and unconventional, street-books, landscape-books, tube-books, shed-books, slime-books, hill-books, book-maps, fractal treatises… Each exhibition is a piece of another, much bigger puzzle, just like each each book is but a letter in another, much bigger book… I have been putting these pieces together for a few decades. Amazing job it is, however toilsome, painstaking and overwhelming since I don’t know, and will never know, how many pieces are still lacking, and what picture I am to compose. A bizarre game, indeed. Nevertheless I keep on going.
