What has no bottom looks for us as an abyss. An abyss is inhabited by various monsters, hideous beings – this is what we do expect from an abyss; we do not expect that an abyss is luminous and bright and beautiful huge butterflies float in it gently. Although such abysses might occur. The fact they do occur extremely rarely, or it seems for us they are possible only theoretically, results in the lack of a proper word to name them. Maybe YKS could be this word? Or just X? A bottomless ocean is but a reversed sky. The difference is that the bottomless ocean has the surface which is the bottom of the sky, while the surfaceless sky has the bottom which is the surface of the bottomless ocean.

We want to fly up, to raise – we don't want to fly down, to fall. But it's the same, at least in this very case. Does this make the beings inhabiting Small Ocean similar to birds? What are birds similar to?
