The art of
drawing maps is a noble art, really worth
admiration. Of
drawing or of writing? Of drawing or of plotting?
Plotting or
printing? Printing or painting? Painting or making?
Making or
creating?
Well, here maps are neither made, nor printed. Nor plotted. Nor written. Nor drawn. There is no need of that kind. Every screen is a map, isn’t it? This land, this country, is a set of screens, isn’t it? Has it any sense to make a map of a map? It no sense at all. Especially knowing how easily this map is being copied and distributed. And vanishing. And this land with it. Why nobody wants to collect something that vanishes so easily? It looks like impermanence is of little value. <<< |
