year: 2001 size: 25 x 25 cm / two fingers thick covers: hardbound in light brown linen + plywood box paper: thick white or creamy print: deskjet printer, hand cut wooden stamp letters language: Polish-Bleblay open edition: 9 copies made so far It’s
a labyrinth like, very tangled, totally undidacted story trying to
tell how a little girl able to write in any direction transforms,
unnoticeably for herself, into a little girl able to write only from
left to right and considering all other directions of script as
strange and pityful thus good only to be changed for this right and
natural one ..... Or how homo instead of becoming sapiens
becomes catholicus or polonicus
or britanicus or islamicus
or sovieticus or democraticus
or
.....
and almost never homo homicus .....
Printed
with a font specially designed for this book and based on the first
letters written by Sabina (thus giving the philosofication a bit
another dimension). In the background (or maybe in the front) her
drawings and paintings: the earliest ones and later ones. And from
time to time, from place to place stamped letters. The sheets are joint
in a labyrinth way what makes you open each page in a different
direction and all the time turn the book round (twisting everything
round).
